Eating Out

Here’s a little haiku challenge for Friday! I generated 3 random words using an online generator:

OK, so you have to write a haiku. That’s a poem with 3 lines of 5, 7 and 5 syllables. I chose haiku because it’s not too complicated, but the twist is to try to get the words into it (pretty tough!). Any subject you like, but it has to make some sort of sense.

You get 1 point for each word you manage to use.

This is mine (2 points):

Eating Out

Our marble kitchen
felt cold against my bare skin.
The forks went flying.

Please, please, please write one and put a link in the comments with your points score, so everyone can read it!

  1. A fun challenge for today. I like your haiku, in the sensual thoughts it inspires. Here’s my attempt, also nabbing 2 points…

    Noodles wrap her fork
    Limp spaghetti, but her grin
    Turns me to marble.
