Three’s Company, Two’s A Crowd

Alastair climbed up my body, his tongue leaving a cool trail along my belly, between my breasts, up my chest. I brushed his toned abs with a finger, watching the way the afternoon sun through the Venetian blind chopped his body: light, dark, light, dark. His cock hung down, heavy and hard, and I cupped it, squeezed lightly, making him gasp.

“Vanessa,” he whispered as he leaned forward, planted his lips firmly against mine, let me taste my own excitement on his tongue before pulling away. “I think Edward is feeling left out.”

He held himself over me, reaching up to his boyfriend, and I sighed and leaned back, resting my head in the space between Edward’s thighs. As I listened to them giggle and moan, watched the way Alastair’s body moved above me, my hand drifted down, through the soft curls of pubic hair between my legs, fingers lightly spreading and teasing my pussy. I was already numb. First Edward, then Alastair. They had shared me, and I had shared them, and I felt loved, wanted, needed.

“You could stay here,” Edward said, his head cocked a little to the side as Alastair lay curled into his lap.

I pulled on my bra as I shook my head. “Thanks, but I can’t.”

He shrugged. “It would make Alastair happy. He loves you, you know, has ever since he met you.”

The sun was starting to fade now, nothing but an orange glow, a dying fire. Edward looked handsome, rebellious, younger somehow. The cigarette hanging from his fingers, his hair unruly. I smiled, shook my head again, buttoned my shirt. “Tell him I’ll call tomorrow.”

“You need someone with you?”

“No.”

“Where have you been? I’ve been worried -”

I ignored Greg, pushed past him into the hall, started up the stairs.

“Vanessa, I’m sorry, it was a mistake, it should never have happened, she was just there and -”

Ignoring the rumpled bedclothes, I grabbed a suitcase from above the wardrobe, started folding a few clothes into it. Greg was there in the doorway.

“Vanessa, honey, don’t do this. It meant nothing! It was just sex, just a stupid, stupid mistake. I don’t love Carol. I don’t even like her. Please, don’t tell Chris. If he found out it would be the end…everything I’ve worked for…Ness, we can work this out, you’ve forgiven me before. I know we can make this work -”

I carried the suitcase to the front door. “Lulu,” I called, made kissy noises until the cat came slinking through from the living room, rubbing herself against the door frame.

“Vanessa, please don’t.” He sounded pathetic. “Please don’t. Where are you going?”

“To my sister’s.” I lifted Lulu into the crook of one arm, then grabbed the suitcase. “I had sex with Alastair and Edward. They asked me when they moved in. I wanted to say yes, but I didn’t. Now I have, and it was fantastic.”

I didn’t look at Greg. Sara’s car was idling on the drive. If he said anything else as I left, I didn’t hear it.
